Chinese Gold Medalist and Basketball Star Part of McDonalds’ New

“It’s What I eat and What I do, I’m Lovin’ It?” Public Awareness Campaign McDonald's recently unveiled a new advertising approach and a variety of new creative concepts that bring the energy balance message to life through the expression, “It's what I eat and what I do…I’m lovin' it.” This approach builds on “I’m lovin' it,” McDonald's first-ever global marketing campaign which debuted in September 2003. Guo Jingjing, a gold-medal diver from China and Houston Rockets’ superstar Yao Ming joined McDonald’s Olympic team of athletes, hopefuls and moms to help announce the message of “It’s what I eat and what I do” through their support of this initiative. The new balanced, active lifestyles platform is designed to inspire McDonald's customers to improve their overall well-being. The creative approach will be reflected in television commercials, print and outdoor advertising, packaging tips, tray liners, education brochures and a variety of other communications as it is rolled out around the world.
